Museum of Blumarji | Montefosca

In the Museum of the “Blumarji” and the village in Montefosca—the most remote village from the valley—you can view the traditional costumes of the Blumarji, the well-known white carnival figures with colorful hats and bells.
The museum also displays objects related to farming, craftsmanship, trades, and everyday life in the region. Many of the items were created by the resourceful Cencig Giovanni – known as Kruč – and were donated to the museum by the family of Giuseppe Specogna.
Among the exhibits are a church clock with a gear wheel and a Graham escapement, a harmonium, and several artifacts from the only dairy still in operation in the Natisone Valleys.
