The Church of Saint Bartholomew the Apostle is located in the village of Ciubiz, a hamlet of the municipality of Prepotto in the province of Udine.
Built in the first half of the 15th century, the church was damaged by the 1511 earthquake and later restored.
The façade features a typical gabled structure with a central portal and side windows, while the bell tower, adjacent to the building, is a square tower with pointed arch bifora windows.
Inside, the church has an exposed truss ceiling and a wall with an ogival bifora window. The presbytery, raised by a single step, is separated from the main nave by a large triumphal arch with a full-round cornice resting on wall pilasters.
The Church of Saint Bartholomew the Apostle is an important example of Friulian religious architecture, bearing witness to the history and culture of the region.
