In the last village of the valley at the foot of Mount Canin, in Coritis / Korïtu, some houses have been partly preserved that represent the predominant local architecture of Resia until the earthquakes of 1976. Some houses have been built following this style even more recently.
On the ground floor, there was usually the kitchen and the stable; on the upper floor, accessed by an external stone staircase, previously wooden, were the bedrooms; and on the second floor, accessed by a wooden ladder, was the hayloft. Two terraces, on the first and second floors, with wooden railings completed the structure.
The small church was rebuilt according to the original structure in the 1990s. Its feast takes place every year on the first Sunday of August. On that day, the change of the Camerari also takes place, volunteers who collect offerings for the church for one year.
Almost all the churches in the valley still have Camerari, an ancient tradition preserved since the Middle Ages.
